BORN WITH A TASTE FOR THE FINER THINGS, Callista Brando was born during a auspicious time in her parents' lives — something that she would wield to her advantage. Her mother, an astrophysicist renowned in her field, and her father, a world-acclaimed jockey at the height of his career, she was not only set up with the resources to be great: she was destined to be in every capacity.She wanted for nothing; her father spoiling her with every wish imaginable, against the objections of her mother. If she wanted the world, she'd have it by any means necessary.Precocious, sharp-witted, and practically dripping with pride, Callista, however, had little to no interest with forming meaningful relationships. Oftentimes, this was supplemented with her closeness to her parents, pets, and her heavy involvement in sports.

Her parents believed in childrearing with a hands-on approach; both of which having their own reasons to be heavily involved in their daughter's life. But that did not mean every involvement was for her benefit as the media made a habit of both showcasing her achievements and meddling too much into her privacy.Scandals surfaced throughout her young life, starting out from the age of seven to present-day – at the age of seventeen, a notable scandal occurred when a judge "wrongly" gave her a score that she felt like she didn't deserve, resulting in her breaking a few fingers and the judge at first getting a black eye and a bloody nose. It's around that emotional outburst that her Stand, Our Lady of Sorrows, materialized unbeknownst to her – causing her to permanently damage the judge's eye.But even then, that did not stop her. Her tenacity grew, her competition grew fiercer, and her hunger for greatness overflowed.

Countless wins and stinging losses, Callista held, above all, a reputation. Friends were commodities, enemies to be kept in all eyesight at all times, and family to be held above all in the eyes of the media.

CHILDHOOD.

LIFE IS HARD UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT, as Callista would come to know. Born into luxury and privilege, it was evident that her popularity suited her. She traveled the world before she could even walk, attended every party and afterparty, and was granted every little toy and outfit imaginable – but it still wasn't quite enough.If it wasn't to her liking or wasn't hers, as a child does, she would make a scene. To the dismay of her parents, it was not easily quelled. Sometimes, to their frustration, she would promptly change her mind after their relinquishment. Nannies, governesses, and other servants were not spared either; much of it causing them to quit without notice, as her tantrums were substantially worse in the rare instance when her parents were not present.Despite it, Callista grew up happily. She was gifted with not one, but three horses – Fortuna, Calliope, and Urania. And, in consequence, her father became her riding instructor, teaching her everything that would make her more than formidable. She started out with doing basic show horsing, dressage namely, and slowly worked her way into horse-racing. Although, there was an attempt to make her way into horse-racing, with many of her father's favors being called in, but she showed no interest in participating.
